Harvest Program

If you are a Port resident, we encourage you to plant an extra row of vegetables in your garden or planter so that you have a surplus to give to those in need.  It's as easy as purchasing your own seeds or vegetable starters and putting them into soil.  You then water, fertilize, and nurture them regularly until they are ready to harvest.

When your fresh produce is ready to pick, please deliver your produce to the Bayles Garden Center at 88 South Bayles Ave in Port Washington. Our team of volunteers will then distribute the community's harvest in a timely manner to our local Our Lady of Fatima Church Food Pantry and other outreach programs in Port Washington.
