Outreach Program

In conjunction with our Harvest Program, our Outreach Program teaches children and families how to grow their own vegetables and share them with those in need.  We work regularly with many local organizations like The Port Washington Children’s Center, Residents Forward, Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, church and synagogue groups, and the Port Washington Public Library.

Last year, Plant A Row delivered our instructional Outreach Program to many Port children to shine a light on hunger in our community and show kids how they can help.

If you are a local community or religious organization, get involved with our Outreach Program and learn how your organization can support our community's hunger needs with fresh produce.
